A team from Henderson Texas were here June 15- 19 to help spread the Gospel. 8 Children and 8 adults professed their faith in Jesus Christ. What an amazing week! You can be a part of this blessing as well, through giving and helping plan and execute Migrant Missions 2027!
Ascent Prayer Summit
A 3-Day Prayer Summit Focused on Seeking and Abiding in the Presence of God through Scripture-Fed, Spirit-Led, Worship-based Prayer!
The 3-Day Ascent Prayer Summit provides an opportunity for pastors and church leaders to seek and abide in the Presence of God through Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based prayer. Expect directed corporate, small-group, and personal times of prayer. As part of the CSBC Prayer Initiative, the goal is to recapture the theological significance, value, and practice of prayer for each believer and every pastor so that all CSBC churches will have a vibrant prayer culture.
Executive Board Meeting
Our next session will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:30 PM at FBC Gridley. We will be voting on adding Resonate Church (meeting on the Chico State Campus) to our association. We will also review proposed foundational updates as we change our Constitution and By-laws.

Evangelism Workshop
Does your church have room to grow in evangelism?
Even the best churches that lead many, many people to Christ are full of people who may feel less-than-confident sharing the Good News with their friends, family, and neighbors.
This year’s focus is on PERSONAL EVANGELISM!
Our target audience is church members, not just leaders. Our plan is to train on sharing “The Hope That Is Within You” in a personal storytelling way. We will work on short “30 second, 3 minute, and 30 minute” gospel conversations.

Join us for this amazing event all about making your church (and the individuals in it) REALLY GOOD AT EVANGELISM.
Oh, and we’ll give your church $1000 to spend on evangelism afterwards.
We want to bless and empower your church’s evangelism.
Each participating church giving to Sierra Butte Baptist Association and Cooperative Program in the last 12 months, who attends the workshop will receive a $1,000 evangelism grant.
